You do not need to sit through 16 weeks of lectures to prove you know Introductory Psychology. Take a 90-minute CLEP exam, score a 50, and earn the same 3 credits for $90.
ARCH-EDU prepares you by extracting only what the exam tests. No filler. No fluff. Just logic.
The math
The average college freshman takes 10 three-credit courses. Each costs $1,500+ in tuition alone. Here is what happens when you replace those with CLEP exams.
That is one year of college credits for the price of a weekend trip. Same credits. Same transcript. Same degree.
Timeline
A college semester stretches one course across four months. The actual testable content -- the rules, formulas, and processes -- fits into a logic schematic you can learn in days.
How CLEP works
CLEP has existed since 1967. It is administered by the College Board (same organization behind the SAT). Here is the process.
Over 2,900 institutions accept CLEP. Most state universities accept all 34 exams. Check your school's transfer credit page or call the registrar's office. Ask specifically which CLEP exams they accept and what minimum score is required (usually 50-60).
Select your course from the library. The AI has already extracted the logic nodes and aligned them to the CLEP rubric. Study the schematic, run debug sprints, and verify your readiness. This replaces weeks of textbook reading with days of focused logic work.
Create an account at clep.collegeboard.org, pay $90, and schedule your exam at any Prometric test center. The exam is 90 minutes, multiple choice (some have an essay section). Scores range from 20 to 80. Most schools require a 50 to award credit.
College Board sends your official score to the institution you designate. The registrar evaluates it against their policy and posts the credits to your transcript. They appear as examination credits or transfer credits. Your diploma does not say "earned via CLEP."
Acceptance
CLEP is not a shortcut that colleges frown on. It is a College Board program with decades of institutional trust. These are the types of schools that accept it.
Most public universities accept all 34 CLEP exams
Community colleges widely accept CLEP for gen-ed requirements
Many private institutions accept CLEP with minimum score requirements
CLEP is free for active-duty military and funded by DANTES
